Personal Life

Kristian Ballerini began her tenure as Bucks County Treasurer on January 6, 2020.  She and her husband, raised their two daughters in the Pennsbury School District and lives in Doylestown Township.  Prior to being elected, she served as an Upper Makefield Township Supervisor helping to oversee the $12 million annual budget.

Employment

Ms. Ballerini is a former bank manager whose 13 years of financial services experience incorporate the training and background needed to serve as Bucks County’s Treasurer.  She began as a bank teller and was eventually responsible for daily oversight of $100,000 in cash on hand and managing a staff of 15.  Additional responsibilities were leading business development efforts.

Career

Ms. Ballerini has dedicated herself to serving as a voice for the needy.  For 10 years, she spoke for victims of crime – frequently sexual assault – on behalf of the county’s Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA).  She co-wrote, produced and help direct “The Edge”, a five part video series on homelessness in Bucks County for Advocates for the Homeless and Those in Need (AHTN).  As a professional voiceover artist and on camera talent, she has over 150 local credits to her name.   In addition, in the aftermath of the massive earthquake, she has traveled to Haiti multiple times with her church to help rebuild the community’s infrastructure, including an education center and a water infiltration system.

Hobbies

A voracious reader, you can find Ms. Ballerini on an occasional Sunday afternoon working in a locally owned bookshop, leading worship in her home church or catering to her six pound Yorkie, Ziggy.
