Biography
Mrs. Furber is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law, and attended the Catholic University of America where she earned a bachelor's degree in political science.
Current Position
Mrs. Furber has been with the office since 2005 and currently serves as the Domestic Violence Supervisor of the Special Victims Division, concentrating on domestic violence. In that capacity, she supervises a team of six consultants who investigate serious domestic violence cases, and research and compile domestic violence reports, which aid in the successful prosecution of domestic violence offenders. Mrs. Furber also serves as the coordinator for the Bucks County Community Accountability Panel (CAP) program, which is a diversionary program for low-level misdemeanors and summaries at the district court level throughout Bucks County.
Career
Mrs. Furber was the Bucks County Bar Association's 2016 recipient for Prosecutor of the Year. Before joining the District Attorney's office, she previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, as well as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Frank T. Hazel, the Criminal Administrative Judge in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
