Mr. James is a graduate of the University of Arizona Honors College where he earned bachelor's degrees in history and political science. Subsequently, he attended Villanova University Law School.
Mr. James has been with the office since 2002 where he currently serves as the Chief of the Homicide by Vehicle Division. He also serves as Trial Coordinator and assists with staff development. Mr. James is a Gulf War veteran who served almost eight years in the United States Air Force in the capacity of a Security Specialist. Mr. James coordinates the District Attorney's Veterans Treatment Diversion Program, which he designed and implemented, and also serves as they county Animal Cruelty prosecutor.
