Peace Valley Mooring

Registration for the 2023 Peace Valley Mooring Lottery is now open. You must register for the lottery to be able to register for a mooring spot.

Mooring Lottery FAQs

1. Do I need to register for the lottery if I had a spot last year? Yes, even if you had a spot last year, you must register for the lottery to have a chance to get a spot this year.

2. If I had a spot last year, and I get chosen in the lottery, can I have my same mooring spot? Yes. If you get chosen in the lottery you will be placed in the same spot that you had last year. If you would like to change spots, you will have to register at the same time as the other lottery winners.

3. What does it mean that seniors and veterans will be given extra consideration? Every person who registers for the mooring lottery essentially has one “name” in the drawing. You get an extra “name” in the drawing if you are a senior and an extra “name” in the drawing if you are a veteran.

4. I did not receive an e-mail on March 3rd, does that mean I was not selected? Unfortunately, yes. E-mails will only be sent to those who have been selected in the mooring lottery. Make sure your account settings are set-up to receive e-mail notifications and you check your spam/junk folders!

5. What happens if a lottery winner no longer wants a spot, or spots are still available after the deadline? We will draw another name from the mooring lottery and contact them. We will continue this process until all the spots are filled.

6. What are the important dates I need to remember? The Mooring lottery runs January 3 and ends on February 28. Lottery winners will be notified via e-mail on March 3. Registration opens for lottery winners on March 6 and ends on March 31.
