A 66-year-old man was convicted on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, of committing the armed robbery of a Middletown Township smoke shop in May 2022.

Gerald Michael Majchrzak, of Bristol Township, was found guilty of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, theft, and possession of a weapon following the 2-day trial before Common Pleas Judge Stephen A. Corr. He was sentenced by Corr to five to 10 years in state prison.
