[ARCHIVED] PADEP Ground Based Black Fly Suppression

A ground-based application of Vectobac 12AS (B.t.i.) is scheduled for Friday June 16, 2023, on the Neshaminy Creek in Bucks County.  It will begin after 10:00AM at the 611 Bridge in Doylestown and continue downstream until completion around Playwicki Park area in Langhorne.  

Treatments will be done where access to riffle areas is possible.  

This work will involve DEP personnel pouring Vectobac into the creek using jugs either from bridges or while wading. 

A marked DEP vehicle will be in the vicinity of all application areas.
