BUCKS INVESTIGATORS SEEK INFORMATION ON 2013 HILLTOWN MURDER

Joseph Canazaro

Ten years ago, on January 18, 2013, two men broke into the home of a Hilltown Township family. When they left, Joseph Canazaro was dead. The search continues for those responsible for his murder.

The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Hilltown Township Police Department continue to investigate the murder of Canazaro, 48, and are asking for the public’s help for information.

Witnesses say two armed men entered the home in the 300 block of Swartley Road just before 10 a.m. on Jan. 18, 2013. They tied up Canazaro, his girlfriend, and his 12-year-old son and ransacked the home, taking guns, money, jewelry, and other items.

The woman and the boy managed to escape and call 911. When police arrived, they found Canazaro dead inside the garage.
