After investigation, the death of a Bucks County Correctional Facility inmate has been ruled a suicide.
Tadeusz Domagala, 69, of Bayonne, New Jersey, died Sept. 15 after he was discovered unresponsive in a shower at the correctional facility.
Responding corrections officers found Domagala at about 3:30 p.m. He was transported by ambulance to Doylestown Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Notification was given to next of kin.
Domagala came to the correctional facility Aug. 24, having been remanded in lieu of bail set at 10 percent of $10,000. He had been arrested Aug. 18 in Trenton, New Jersey, and, because of an outstanding bench warrant, was transported six days later to Bucks County. Soon after his arrival, he was set to appear at trial Sept. 22 on DUI charges from March 2013 out of Falls Township.
Bucks County Detectives along with the Department of Corrections Investigations Unit investigated Domagala’s death and determined the man died by suicide.
