Established in 2002, the Bucks County Prison Oversight Board is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the Bucks County Correctional Facility and all alternative housing facilities, overseeing the health and safekeeping of inmates, and confirming the Commissioners' selection of the warden.
The Bucks County Prison Oversight Board meetings generally consist of the Controller's report, the Director's report and reports from subcommittees before having public comment.
Agendas for the meetings are posted at least 24 hours prior to each meeting. The Director's report, on the previous month, are posted after the meeting. Minutes are available upon request.
