Monthly meeting of the Bucks County Retirement Board. The Bucks County Retirement Board handles employees pension funds as well as time accrued in the pension program.
The Bucks County Retirement Board consists of the three Commissioners, the Treasurer and the Controller. Meetings are held prior to the Commissioners' meeting, on the third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 am. Meetings are held in the Commissioners' Meeting Room on the first floor of the Bucks County Administration Building.
The Retirement Board administers the Bucks County Employees' Retirement Fund which was established on January 1, 1942. The single-employer public pension plan covers almost all full-time employees of the county. In May, 2021, the fund paid roughly $3.85 million in benefits to 1,690 retirees.
