Who We Are

As declared by the United States Supreme in Gideon v. Wainwright an indigent defendant's right to have the assistance of counsel is fundamental and essential as guaranteed by the 6th and 14th Amendments to the United States Constitution. The right to be heard would be, in many cases, of little avail if it did not comprehend the right to be heard by counsel as well as the ability to utilize counsel's "guiding hand" at every stage of the proceedings.
