Bucks County Cooperative Extension

Improving Our Lives Through Education

For more than 100 years, Pennsylvanians have relied on Penn State Extension for research-based information and new ways to solve business, individual, and community problems. Extension, an arm of the land-grant university, is funded cooperatively by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and state and county governments.

The backbone of this community-based educational network is people working together; extension educators, volunteers, and faculty sharing the resources and expertise of Penn State University with local residents.

Penn State Extension Bucks County offers a broad range of educational programs in areas vital to the quality of life including:

  • 4-H Youth Development
  • Agricultural Production
  • Commercial Horticulture
  • Community Development
  • Consumer Horticulture
  • Food Safety/Food Preservation
  • Nutrition Education for Limited Resource Families
