Workforce Development Board

The Workforce and Economic Development Board of Directors is comprised of a minimum of 51% private sector (employer/business) members, representatives of local educational entities, labor organizations, community-based organizations, and economic development agencies and PA CareerLink® Bucks County Partners and investors.

  • Quarterly on the 2nd Wednesday of September, March, June, and December 
  • Meetings are held at various locations throughout the Bucks County area

About the Board

The Bucks County Workforce Investment Board, Inc. (BC-WIB), which varies in the number of members, is responsible for the strategic planning of workforce activities in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The BC-WIB has the following responsibilities and goals:

  • Brings together business and industry, education, and community-based organizations to partner in opportunities that strengthen our local workforce and improve our local and regional economy
  • Is committed to bringing together and working cooperatively with all of the investors in the workforce of the Bucks County and Southeastern Pennsylvania community
  • Oversees the development of partnerships with employers, economic development and educational agencies, and other programs to leverage all local resources available to the benefit of the local workforce
