The Department ensures through annual inspection that the water supply and other environmental concerns for all public and certain private and parochial schools within Bucks County are in compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (water supplies and sewage), all appropriate Pennsylvania Department of Health regulations and applicable BCDH regulations.
For all schools within Bucks County with food service, the Department will inspect and license the food operation in accordance with the current FDA Food Code. The Department will also respond to complaints on all aspects of the school operation involving public health and safety.
