Sewage Program
The Bucks County Health Department permits on-site sewage facilities consisting of new/repaired septic systems, spray irrigation systems, holding tanks, alternate and experimental systems which qualify under PA Code, Title 25, Chapter 73 and the PA DEP On-Lot Alternate Technology Listing.
This Department provides assistance to property owners for the investigation and repair of malfunctioning sewage system and responds to written complaints of malfunctioning sewage systems. The Department also licenses all sewage disposal vehicles for pumping and transporting sewage within the County. For more information, please call 215-345-3318.

PENNVEST, in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, provides low-cost financing to improve, replace, or repair individual on-lot sewage disposal systems or to connect, for the first time, to public sewer in order to meet public health and environmental safety standards.
