Special Victims Division
The Special Victims Division at the Bucks County District Attorney's (DA) office consists of ten attorneys with specific training and capacity to work with vulnerable populations and the dynamics of crimes involving children and families. The Special Victims Division works closely with each law enforcement agency in the county to oversee and advise criminal investigations involving special victims, as well as Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency, the Bucks County Children's Advocacy Center, Network of Victim Assistance, and A Woman's Place to ensure that victims of interpersonal violence have the desired level of support through the criminal justice process.
Crash Investigation Unit
The Crash Investigation Division at the Bucks County DA's Office is comprised of trained attorneys and investigators who seek to establish the causes of serious motor vehicle crashes occurring in Bucks County, and hold offenders accountable if their contribution to the crash is determined to be criminal in nature. The Crash Investigation Unit is headed up by Deputy DA Robert D. James and handles investigations where serious injury, significant damage to property, or loss of life has occurred.
