Advocates for the Homeless & Those in Need (AHTN): Services include emergency shelter, rental and move-in assistance, prescriptions, utility assistance, legal documents, transportation to mental health and doctors' appointments, thrift stores, food pantries, drug court, laundromat, Code Blue, Wheels to Meals, Rejuvenation Station, and Those In Need. A Woman's Place: The only domestic violence organization in Bucks County. For more than 45 years, A Woman's Place has stood with all survivors of abuse and domestic violence. Hotline: 1-800-220-8116
Between Friends Outreach works with those who are homeless, domestic violence victims, on a low income, & Veterans in the Bucks and Montgomery County communities by providing resources to prevent homelessness and to assist clients transitioning out of homelessness; provides emergency shelter, meals, counseling, drug/alcohol treatment, budgeting skills, medical care, employment assistance, and housing assistance resources and more. 267-424-2161 or 267-875-9460, bfoutreach@gmail.com
The Bucks County Opportunity Council Housing Services program is to help people in Bucks County overcome barriers (homelessness, eviction, or utility shutoff) to self-sufficiency and limit future need for help. An experienced Self-Sufficiency Coach will work with clients to assess the emergency, stabilize the situation and develop a plan to prevent future emergencies. Catholic Social Services provides services and assistance for the homeless, the hungry, at-risk youth, struggling families, and single parents. 215-945-2550
Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless provides shelter on Code Blue nights and also makes every effort to link the homeless and financially distressed to needed resources. All work is done in a spirit of respect for the individual, and without regard to gender, race, nationality, sexual orientation, and religious or political beliefs. If in need of shelter during a Code Blue emergency, call the Bucks County Housing Link at 1-800-810-4434. For assistance when the Code Blue shelter is closed, call 1-866-390-0291 x 703. Family Promise of Lower Bucks The mission of Family Promise of Lower Bucks is to mobilize collaboration within the local community in addressing the needs of homeless families with children, by providing shelter, meals and comprehensive services while helping them to lasting self-sufficiency. 215-943-0402 or info@fplb.org
Family Service Association of Bucks County offers a variety of programs and services focused on increasing opportunities for adults, protecting seniors, reducing substance use, improving the lives of those with mental illness, preparing children and adolescents for the future, improving the quality of life for those living with HIV/AIDS and much more. FSA also operates the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter, a temporary residence for individuals and families who have lost safe and stable housing. YWCA Bucks County: The Bucks County Homeless Prevention Program is designed to provide financial assistance and case management services to households who are currently in housing but are at imminent risk of becoming homeless and who need temporary assistance to prevent them from becoming literally homeless.
