Coronavirus (COVID-19) Testing/Vaccination Information

The CDC recommends that people with moderately to severely compromised immune systems receive a third dose of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least 28 days after a second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

People who have compromised immune systems are more at risk of serious, prolonged illness and may benefit from an additional dose to make sure they have enough protection against COVID-19. Those over 65 and those whose occupations put them at increased risk are also eligible.

To see the CDC’s recommendations including eligible medical conditions, additional doses and booster shots, please go to the COVID-19 Vaccines for a Specific Group of People page. To see the PA Department of Health's recommendation on who is eligible for an additional dose or booster shot click PA Department of Health COVID-19 Vaccine page.

Talk to your healthcare provider about your medical condition to decide whether getting an additional dose or booster is appropriate for you.

Make sure to take your vaccination card when you go; both walk-ins and appointments are accepted. Prescriptions are not required.
